Kaity Molé, RN, BSN, Student CNM/FNP (pronouns: she/her/they/them), NSSRH Inclusivity Officer, is a registered nurse working in reproductive health and abortion at Planned Parenthood of Metro Washington and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner with District of Columbia Forensic Nurse Examiners. Kaity graduated from John Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2014, where they participated in a research program focusing on health and intimate partner violence and worked at a domestic violence shelter providing contraceptive counseling and education. She additionally served on the Nursing Leadership Team for the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA) as a Student Liason from 2014-2015.
Kaity is currently a Doctorate of Nursing Practice student in Nurse-Midwifery/Family Nurse Practitioner at Frontier Nursing University as well as participating in a post-graduate program in LGBT Health Policy and Practice. She plans to continue work as an abortion provider and in queer/trans focused sexual and reproductive health after graduation.
Kaity identifies as a sex positive hard femme queer feminist and her passions are abortion care, sexual health and wellness inclusive of all sexualities and genders, as well as anti-violence work/trauma-informed care. She graduated from Union College in 2012 with a BS in International Relief and Project Development and a BA in Modern Foreign Languages. Kaity is a proud parent to three kitties, Venus, Luna and June, and lives with her partner in Maryland.
