Jenna Benyounes is a dual certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) who graduated with a Master’s in Science from Georgetown University. She is currently in her Doctorate program at Georgetown University. Her focus of study is in sexual health and dysfunction. Previously, she attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. During that time she wrote her thesis “Preventing Perineal Trauma: A Review of the Literature” and served as the Student Nursing Association President and second Vice President. Her clinical experiences have been diverse including busy community hospitals, academic high risk hospitals and a birth center.
She has a passion for adult education and holds a faculty position at Georgetown University as well as George Washington University. She enjoys being very active in her profession, focusing on health policy, and advocacy.
